Tantalise those taste buds at this year’s Northern Restaurant and Bar

Northern Restaurant and Bar have carefully selected some of the North’s most highly acclaimed working chefs to impart their knowledge and expertise.  Be entertained by their flair and skills as they take to the stage to showcase what it was that got many of them their Michelin stars!

Once again the line up brings Michelin starred chefs to the show. James McKenzie from the Pipe & Glass will take to the stage having just received his star this year. He will be joined by Fraiche’s Mark Wilkinson and Rupert Rowley from Fischers at Baslow.

Nigel Howarth will be signing copies of ‘Obsession Cook Book’. He is one of the fantastic fifty chefs including Heston Blumenthal, Michael Caines and Paul Heathcote who have contributed over one hundred recipes.

Also on this year’s timetable are Ian Matfin from Abode Manchester, Bryn Evans from Obsidian, Andrew Nutter of Nutters restaurant (also book signing), Abdulla Naseem from Ramsons Restaurant, Stephanie Moon at Rudding Park and Chris Rawlinson from the Red Cat recently awarded the North West Young Chef of the Year in 2009.

New talent will also be showcased with tutor Mark Apsley Hooper demonstrating with students from Trafford College.
