Now in its 14th year, Northern Restaurant & Bar (NRB) continues to celebrate the hospitality powerhouse of the North.

With all eyes on the North in terms of culture and infrastructure our exciting new creative and website showcases the continuing success and innovation of hard-working hospitality professionals in the North, from chefs to hoteliers, mixologists to deli operators and everything in between.

“As NRB continues to grow I look forward to bringing together the key players powering hospitality in the North, showcasing their talent and innovation, and triggering debate” said NRB Managing Director Thom Hetherington.

The North’s hospitality hub
The trade-only showcase will welcome a range of visitors including restaurateurs, hoteliers, publicans, chefs, deli owners and bartenders from across the north of England.

As well as being a hotspot for hospitality networking and inspiration, NRB will also stage cookery demonstrations from well known industry chefs plus tutored beer and wine tastings, spirit and fine food displays. Welcoming emerging artisan producers alongside premium brands, the show will give visitors an opportunity to explore everything from the latest microbrewery craft ales, award winning meats, cheeses and wines through to epos systems and the finest tableware.

NRB Top 50 Awards
Organisers of this year’s event will also be announcing the fourth annual NRB Top 50 line-up, sponsored by Kuits Solicitors. The list, which will be chosen by a panel of judges, will honour 50 influential operators in the north of England. The three coveted special achievement winners will be announced live on the first day of the show. Those selected will be chosen based on their successes, achievements and their impact on the Northern hospitality industry.

NRB Debate
Following the success of the first NRB debate, this year’s key speaker will again generate exciting conversation about the industry. Thom Hetherington will once again host with a key local operator to provide regional content.
