Company Profile
Dewlay – Three Generations of Lancashire Cheesemaking

Dewlay was founded in 1957 by George Kenyon and over the next 50 years earned a reputation for producing some of the best Lancashire cheese available. Located just outside the historic market town of Garstang, the company is managed by 3rd generation owners Nick & Richard Kenyon and continues to produce Lancashire cheese with the same care and attention and using the same traditional methods their grandfather used in the 1950s. Using cheese sourced from local dairy farms, their products include the award winning Creamy, Crumbly and Tasty Lancashire along with the very well known Garstang Blue cheese. Their products sell in local markets, specialist delicatessens and farm shops and restaurants. Since late 2010, Dewlay have been making their cheese using sustainable wind energy, making them one of the first dairies in the country to use renewable energy on such a scale.

Featured as part of the Taste Lancashire stand, which will be championing Lancashire’s diverse and award winning food and drink producers.
